Is this Rolex box legit?

I have found little information about this inner box. Is this a genuine box, and if it is, what years/models would this have belonged to? I got it with a mid 60's 18K Datejust, but I'm pretty sure it's no where near that old.

Don't know the exact years but this one is for all gold sports models from 80's to maybe early/mid 90's. Mostly from Daytona's but also seen with Yachtmaster and Sub. I'm sure the box experts will along shortly...

I've bought two gold Daytonas and several DD's with that box.

My TT Daytona came with that box. It was originally sold in 1992 on Switzerland.

The two tone Daytonas came in this box also, as others have noted in their posts - not just the gold Daytonas.

Actually I was wrong. My 16523 came with the 81.00.09 and not the .02 . The difference seems to be in the gold profile and crown on the lid.
