Sub-c vs. Gmt II-c weight?

Does any one know if the sub-c is heavier than the gmt II-c? If not im either going crazy or getting weaker cause I could swear my new sub feels heavier. Something about it also feels more solid and substantial. The only difference I see visually is the clasp, but I doubt that can make up the extra weight I feel

The caseback in the sub is slightly higher, making it sit just slightly higher on your wrist...Might add to the feeling you are experiencing.

Yes, the case back is thicker to handle the rating of 300m so it sits a bit higher, it is probably a few grams more but it should be that much of a diff, bit I do agree, it feels more substantial. Until you try a DSSD... ;-)

Th sub caseback is thicker but the gmt sidewalls are higher, due to the second timezone complication adding thickness to the movement.

I have tried on both. As far as weight goes there are about the same. The Sub is a thicker watch, so it just feels substantially heavier. As far as weight goes for Rolexes in general, I don't feel that they are VERY or QUITE heavy as alot of people make it out to be. Sure, it is a heavier watch, and is the heaviest watch I have worn. There are, however, heavier made watches out there. People who don't own Rolexes that feel someone elses always questions the weight. The're like that isn't very heavy. Well it isn't light for it's apparent mass. They aren't bricks! lol. I have a friend that thinks that it has to feel heavy. NO, heavy is a relative term. It is, however, heavier than most watches. That's why they are called heavy. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH OTHER PEOPLE BEFORE?

Call me crazy, but, has anyone swapped the SUb C caseback onto a GMT II C? I like the way the sub c feels on my wrist, the height of the watch/and my dssd too... So much so, I don't wear my gmt AT ALL because it feels flat and small in comparison, definitely sort of an illusion considering the cases are the same (sub/gmt c's)
