Does 36mm Explorer wear smaller than Datejust?
Does anyone know if the 36mm Explorer wears smaller than the 5 digit datejusts?

I know they both have a 36mm case size, but I've heard people say the explorer wears smaller b/c of the black dial.

That was a typo, my bad. I meant to say that people say the Explorer wears smaller b/c of the black dial. I realize that the datejust can have a black dial but I think white, champagne, silver etc seems to be more common.

I have the 114270 and 116264 and first time I felt the same but it's only an optical effect IMO. Both are amazingly comfortable. I'll try to post a pic later.

Thanks for the pics. I'm considering a 16014 with a silver dial but I'm hoping it wears a little bigger than my old 114270.

The bezel makes the DJ look bigger to me optical illusion or not it is definitely bulkier looking.
