Daytona 16520 - A-series with hollow bracelets?

Hi,
I've come across two watches this week on my hunt for a 16520 with hollow end link bracelets on A-series. Both are represented as original to the watches. Has anyone encountered this? Do all a-series come with SEL?

Thanks for entertaining the newb question!

A series with hollow endlinks is still possible I think because that period Rolex were mixing parts up (transitional)....P series definitely SEL

I have seen A serial on non SEL bracelets but most are on SEL. One just sold here a few days ago.
