Opinions on this 1655 Straight Hand
Hi All,
I'm considering this 1655. Any input would be much appreciated! https://shop.bulangandsons.com/watch...freccione.html Best, JG |

Nice example. What's the asking price? Date wheel looks to have been replaced, but minor point. Should be brushed metal, I believe, like my MK2 below.
Lots of good info here: http://stefanomazzariol.blogspot.com...freccione.html |

Actually found a full set for 22k. Mark II. Not a straight hand but looks legit:

So, what happened, and why didn't you buy it?
I'm interested, if it's genuine, authentic, and that straight hand isn't something they bought at a 2nd hand shop (excuse the pun....)

You seem to have done some good research . . . and I'd love to follow you around with this search. I'm interested in a really nice 1655 for myself, but there sure seems to be lots of fakery going on with this one...
