Next Watch Purchase Descision
I've got a 5 digit Submariner and an SD4K and am seriously considering adding a Tudor Pelagos LHD.
I'm on a Daytona list but most of us are :) What do you guys think? Anyone have a combination of these watches? I like the uniqueness of the LHD even though I am right handed! :) Never owned a Tudor but am seriously tempted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Good idea, BB Divers would be too similar to the others, but I'd look at the new Chrono too.

Looks like you like divers. Personally I would go for something a bit different but if you want a diver theme collection and want to add a Tudor it's a perfect choice

I have a couple of subs and a Tudor BB and it fits in nicely so I would get the Pelagos

Thanks for your replies :)
I'm in the UK and it seems to be going for over list from some places. Is it still available to order at ADs does anyone know? The other thing is how resistant the titanium is to scratches etc compared with a SS watch? Any owners views would be great :) Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The titanium was fine when I had one. No issues at all. Given you have the 2 divers in all black, maybe think blue pelagos for a change. Otherwise, Neil makes a good suggestion in the chrono or maybe the black bay steel?

If you like divers it's a good choice, although a Blue Pelagos would add a better variety. The Titanium on the Pelagos is very durable scratch wise, the only scratches on mine are on the clasp which is stainless steal.
In terms of buying an LHD, Iconic has an unworn for £3,100, so just £80 over RRP. If you are prepared to wait and go the AD route Frazer-Hart will look across the stock in all their AD's if they don't have stock in-store. I bought a BB Bronze last week, after I enquired at my local AD and they ordered it in from another store. It arrived next day and was mine. The manager said it was the other way round a few months ago when they had an LHD but someone went into another branch looking for one and they had to send it on...... Good luck whichever route you go and whichever Pelagos you go for |

I would say a Pelagos would fit your current collection nicely. Though the LHD is nice they have become a little hard to find. I spoke to my AD about this and the consensus was that Tudor has tightened up the supply as of late. Why? Who knows, maybe to focus on Basel releases, maybe to slow down the flipping that was rampant at launch???
I would wait until the supply picks up again and watch the preowned market if that is "the one". But I would consider an original ETA model as well. Way less expensive due to easy access on secondary market. As to how the titanium holds up to scratches. A better than SS in my opinion. I have not babied this watch at all (as a matter of fact I have beat it up pretty good) and it still looks wonderful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Looks great, love the clasp on the Pelagos :)
I will contact some ADs to see about supply. Out of interest what is the warranty length on the Pelagos, I'm assuming not 5 years like Rolex? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Pretty certain that the warranty is 2 years. It certainly is on the Black Bay I've just bought.
