With the UK price of grey current pieces being so high....
I've decided to take a step back from the squabbles and so just received a slightly older model. 14060.
I find the price slightly more palatable than paying over or near rrp for something already a few years old... This wasn't much cheaper. But brings with it - the added feel of retro and special, it has a story, without being fussy in a "vintage" way. Its going to be my "wearer" (hate to say beater) - and I think its just perfect for the job. Its reliable and trust worthy. Its not a scratch magnet, and its not so old (or new) that it needs babying.... Its already made friends: |

Excellent choice. 14060 can't be beat as a watch for daily wear; comfortable, durable, reliable and stylish. Does it all.

Smart move to stay out of the Rolex rat race, and that sub is keeping the highest company!

Great choice, it's also going to be my next, as it is a classic and the perfect spot between the vintage lottery and new UK stock availability farce

Great choice. The 14060 (or 14060M pre COSC 2 liner) are just so classic at a reasonable price without paying the vintage premium on an older 4 digit Sub.
Enjoy......... |
