Daytona C Tease

I was walking past my AD today minding my own business. The guy in there is a friend, he called me in and said that there was something in the safe that would interest me. He has my name down for a Daytona white and knows it is my grail.
He only got one out and let me try it on, even tho it was for someone also. What a bloody watch tease! It's all I can think about now!

Did you take a picture on your wrist? It would be a worse tease you'd be looking at it everyday.

I wonder if the "owner" knows that the AD is letting other people try on the watch

Haha no I must admit I didn't for that reason! He is a friend and let's me try loads of stuff on. He was trying to sell me the gold Daytona on oysterflex!
I must admit the white is still my grail and I love it, but it seemed quite small.

That's just cruel. You should have accidentally swiped the counter trying it on leaving a small mark. You break you buy

If that was my watch, that would really bother me

You would never know... I'm sure it happens often.

This (unless he's trying to sell above MSRP)

Hate when ADs do this. I would be mad if that if that is my watch that they are showing "teasing" others with.

Oh man I would worry if I did that they would place me on the permanent persona non grata list, resulting in being "stuck" with only being "offered" OPs and Explorers (both of which aren't so bad at all BTW)

Probably intended as a nice gesture but still would hurt a little to be fair.

Hope yours is in the next shipment!

It's probably not really sold. Who gets the call and doesn't immediately go pick it up?
I bet they are holding it just in case a VIP calls or someone comes in they can convince to buy a DD to get the Daytona C. I wouldn't be surprised if they sold it to grey dealer instead of a retail customer.

£9200 at the moment and they won't tell me where I am on the list but it's has already been a lifetime! They have told me that if they think someone on the list would sell or not wear they won't let them have one which is good to hear!
