Clasp Change
Has anyone ever took the clasp from a 78790 bracelet and put it on a 93150 bracelet. I was looking at the 2 bracelets and they seem to be the same, hollow center links and non SEL. Only difference i noticed was the polished sides on the 78790. I dont dive and like the smaller size of the 78790 clasp and wanted to put it on the 93150 bracelet.
Thanks john |

Oyster bracelets are all the same size at the clasp and most are interchangeable..... a 78790 clasp is a direct bolt-on to a 93150 bracelet, however, the 78790 has a full link attached and the 93150 clasp has the half-link attached because the clasp is physically larger.
A nifty trick for the small wristed with an older bracelet is to find a late (post 2000) Daytona clasp (and a couple of others) because they do not have a link permanently attached at the 6 oclock end of the clasp. This allows you to go down to one less link on that side without removing a permanent link..
