I wonder if that dial is original to that two tone Daytona. The dial is really nice but it looks like the ones that are exclusive to the all gold models. Of course, I could be wrong... I am not really that familiar with Daytonas. It is rather attractive, though.

The one I've posted is a slight variation to the one you've pictured.
This has the gold surrounds on the numerals....But what really makes it pop, is the gold hands set!

Thanks Tony. It's good that the Daytona can be somewhat customized.

Let me tell you a story
In the last 6 months: I have got engaged to my beautiful wife to be , bought a place in sydney, am helping to arrange / save for our 2 weddings ( one back home in Scotland and one here in OZ) and honeymoon for next year. Additionaly I have bought two rolex along with several other good watches recently. I value all of this immensely ...

SO if i buy this without at least releasing one other rolex i will be dead. End of story

My pops taught me a long time ago to have as many placeholders as possible before marriage. Some day want a boat? Buy a canoe. Want a sports car? Buy a non-functional Fiat. Want a gold Rolex? Buy a plated Invicta. After you get married, you're not really BUYING a boat, a sports car, or a gold watch... you're just REPLACING what you already have. Moral of the story - buy a two tone chronograph now and pick up your Daytona a few months from now with few ill effects. Besides, with TWO weddings to plan... you deserve it!
