My Ceramic GMT with brushed center links.

Just got my ceramic GMT back from the AD after getting the PCL brushed. Love it! This how they should have made this watch in the first place, IMO

Agreed! Looks amazing. The PCL's are a big issue for me and have been the reason I have been swaying towards an EXPII over the GMT.

I was contemplating trying to brush the centre links myself if I were to go with a GMT but am nervous to try.

Looks great.

Thanks. I took it to an AD and they only charged me $150 to do it. I don't think I would attempt it myself, but you may be more brave than I.

I'm with Thomas on this but the brushed links look great as well. I enjoy a bit of brightwork though.

I've been so conditioned by precious metal models that brushed centers look odd now.

If you had just worn it for a year it would look like that anyway.

Agreed that the GMT should come brushed. I would also like to see Rolex offer a super jubilee option for the GMT. It was an option in the past and I saw a forum member post pics of a BLNR with a super jubilee fitted which looked fantastic.

The sides of the case, links and clasp are still polished, that's enough shiny for me.

I agree. Stainless steel is meant to be brushed. Think, Delorean. Platinum and hold, polished all the way.

Let's face it, the GMT looks good either way. Not partial one way or the other on the SS model though brushing the GMTc does give it the older look so why not just go used with the previous version and have insert switchablility. Once you get to TT+ it's PCL's all the way of course.

I wanted the ceramic bezel but not the PCL. I was contemplating an old GMT and then buying a ceramic Sub to achieve the full brushed look. I do however love the ceramic GMT and now it's perfect for me.

Yes I totally agree. I hate PCL's they're a scratch magnet.

Looks fantastic. I am of the opinion that brushed are better suited for the SS Professional watches, but after owning a SS Daytona and now a BLNR, the PCL's have grown on me. But after seeing your picture of your GMT, it re-affirms my opinion that brushed is better suited for SS Professional watches.
