Agree, they add a nice bit of sizzle and shine which works well on a pilot's watch.

Looks great.

Send it to me; I'll do it for half that!

BCLs get my vote.

I wonder if more people would consider the GMT IIc if it came that way?

Probably to some. But then it would probably lose part of its appeal to some as well.

Looks cool buddy. Congrats. But I never mod a watch so I'm one of those that will always choose the original look.

I'm going against the grain here, it looks okay, but I prefer the PCLs no matter how painful they may be to keep clean on this piece and many others. Leave the fully brushed for the divers. Pilots are careful and precise about everything.

Had an AD in Washington brush off the PCL on my DJII, no charge whatsoever. Looks perfect!

Was going to do the same on my BLNR but decided against it and I am now used to and like PCL on the BLNR. Sure glad I listened to the advice of friends.

I think it looks great, if I only had one watch and it was a GMTc I would go down the brushed route. As I have a Sub I have that box ticked so my GMTc with PCL offers something a little different.
Back to the OP, a big thumbs up from me. Oh, u can get that brushed effect reversed should you change your mind.

Looks much better. They should do this on the Daytona, gold Sub/GMT, any other watch... as well.

Lol, what does having PCL have to do with being careful and precise?

I've always felt this is one of those references that can go either way. It isn't something that can't be reversed.

I think it looks good brushed or with PCLs ---owner's choice.

Chaps

A GMT is a tool watch and yes it has PCL's to compliment a Pilots uniform but brushed links do look better and frankly more discreet and in keeping with the original ethos of the GMT.

wow I didn't know it would look so good!!!. I'm always paranoid about scratching my GMTc, I thought about it but didn't know if it was a good move. BTW, last week I bought a Milgauss for my wife and makes me sad to see how many scratched that watch already has. It's been only about a week, and looks like its 3 months old.

P.S can somebody put up a couple of clear pictures of how the watch looks like with day light.!!

I prefer the PCL's, but it would be nice if we had the option from Rolex.
