The only good thing about this edition is that Omega marketing paid tribute to 2531.80 !

For Pierce Brosnan in Goldeneye, he wore the 2541.80 quartz first.

Now we know why Daniel Craig refused to continue as James Bond; he knew about this project

I think you may have misread Daniels refusal to play bond ever again. Apparently he refused untold millions ,and only accepted after the producers relented, and said he didn't have to wear the watch.

I like it. It's like a Polar 16570 done right.

EXCEPT for that 007 counterweight. Dear lord.

If the bezel was all blue or black and that counterweight was removed I would literally be in line for this.

This is truly ugly. Did they really give these project to some interns who just completed their first year of marketing at the lowest tier state school? The name, the 007 counterweight, the red part of the bezel--someone was really out to kill this project from day one. By the way, red is one of the first colors that gets lost with depth so those 15 minutes of red will look like 15 minutes of poopies when you're going for the deep :-)

Omega needs to slow down and refocus.

They can't keep pumping out new colors and themes every month.

Hi All, Just back from a long weekend in Barcelona ,& enjoyed some great Watch Window shopping ,& while in Omega AD saw the new Commander Bond Seamaster . To be fair it looks really good in the flesh & if it had sword hands I think it would make a great Summer/holiday/weekend wearer .

its a nice watch, not to die for but nice. Not for a LE but then again 7k pieces is not really a LE; so I approve

I saw it in person today, but passed on this one. As always, I do enjoy Omega's presentation sets.

This. I agree. The seconds hand kills it, Bond watch or not. I would wear it otherwise, not top on a list of buys, but if somebody gave it to me, I'd wear it happily.
