Yes and what is so nice is that everyone is so keen to let others try on their watches. One guy had the only ceramic pc in the UK and I did a double take when I noticed it. Before I knew it he took it off and gave it to me to get a better look. AP makes the atmosphere so relaxed that everyone is just having a great time.

I've bought 6 watches from Mat and I can't recommend him highly enough. For sure I must only rate as a moderate customer but he knows that I wear the watches that he sells me and I recommend him to everyone that is in the market for a new watch.

It was amazing Mike, do you play? There's a prize for the longest drive which you'd have to be in with a chance of winning (or setting a world record).

I'd had quite a bit to drink by the time the prizes were given out and as the room was so big and the lighting was dimmed I can't recall seeing what the prizes were.

My team was winning until the last few holes but then there was a score blackout for the last 3 - we didn't win in the end unfortunately, or controversially in my team mates views.

Previously people have won AP embroidered golf bags / AP branded golf clubs.

One year there was Gold Royal Oak chrono for a hole in 1 which was quite a safe prize to offer and they take out insurance just in case.

Assuming someone must have won that Chrono unexpectedly hence the poor prizes this year! Did you manage to play with the ROO they gave you on your wrist or did you have to take it off whilst playing? I personally would have strugged playing with that on my wrist.

They lent me the ceramic 44 for driving the cars around the race circuit the following day.

By the way I didn't specifically see the prizes this year but I would expect that they were every bit as impressive as previous years.

You really are buying so much more than a watch when you buy into AP, the level of customer service and relations goes above and beyond. Never ever heard of Rolex doing anything like this or at the other end of the spectrum even PP. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Patek do look after their very good clients but AP do cool stuff that's for sure.
