Where can I find a new Hulk?
I really need to add a non PM piece to my collection and I think a Hulk would be nice.
So... where is that I can find one? I am in the UK and ideally would like it without paying over the odds. My local AD is trying to find one in his branch network but not sure if/when he will find one.

Oh man, in the UK is tough for any SS Rolex but a Hulk will be brutal. I know of a super clean like new LVc from a trusted forum seller in the states.

I would contact as many ADs as you can who will try to source one for you even tho you may not be local, give it three months and then if you can't find one I'd buy unworn from a reseller as a price rise is due by end of year I expect as the UK situation is untenable.

Some won't even take my name on the list, some want deposit and an exclusivity too. I am like wtf... exclusivity to go on the list... I think finding a trusted seller with an unworn is probably worth the risk! But flying overseas just for a watch is kinda extreme...

there you go. £475 above the price you would pay anyway if you sourced one from an AD in europe at retail price. Way cheaper than sourcing from the US as technically you would have to declare it and pay duty. Small price to pay to avoid all the hassles of finding on at a UK AD and you can have it tomorrow(if its still there).

They had 4 but one sold. The others were all between 7,300 and 7,550 and ranging between 6 and 18 months old from memory.
I'm seriously tempted to pull the trigger myself next week. I can't get the bloody thing out of my head. |

Call the Us ADs in the major cities you might want to visit.
Have them hold one for you. Fly over for a long weekend adventure. My AD had one not long ago. I've seen them around.

The watch alone is significantly more expensive in the USA ($9050 plus tax) Then add UK VAT..... Then add the cost of the trip..... That would be a crazy expensive LV. Far better to put the work in and source one in the UK at list of £6,600 (just over $8,000) I looked at one in Florida and the AD wanted $9,050 plus tax. Add the VAT and the travel and you'll see the cost difference. |

Tough to get from a UK AD at the moment but not impossible you could get lucky. Time is not on your side I feel due to current UK pricing. Good luck
