On Becoming an American
I didn't vote for any particular watch but wanted to say congratulations!
My wife went through the process 9 years ago. It was an incredible experience to watch dozens of people taking that oath of allegiance and the emotions that followed. |

Thank you all for the kind replies and votes. At 7 am the Sub was up by a nose.
Very emotional and moving ceremony with people from 35 different nations. I would like to claim that I remained composed throughout but my lovely wife has a couple of pictures with me wiping away some sort of watery discharge coming out from my eyes. I will always be proud of my Spanish/Celtic heritage but beginning today I am first and foremost an American. Again, thank all you so much for the kind comments. |
