Question regarding blue dial 1603

Hi everyone,

I am looking at purchasing this blue dial 1603. My concern is that I want the watch to be all original (dial, hands, etc.)

I don't have the most trained eye, so I am looking for anyone's help. The seller says the watch dates to 1986.

Thank you

The parts seems original but that case looks polished (so does the crystal). I would rather go for an unpolished one (that's my 2 cents).

To me the dial seems to be from a new DJ. The swiss made is above the outer markers. But I could be wrong.

Dial is definitely from a newer Datejust model but is genuine, it will not affect the resale value IMHO nor does it challenge the authenticity of the piece as it is still a Rolex part.

I think I spot an S on the clasp as well which would make it a replacement service clasp. I would inquire about the band stretch as well as there are some major gaps in the back photo.
