YM is beautiful watch with the blue dial. The YM can be worn with pretty much everything. I ended up with the 16622 with grey dial.

I was thinking you take your wife's birthday too seriously! Is there no gift you can get her or even make her so you don't have to sell one of these Rolexes, seems a lot to give up for a non-essential reason.

Suggest to keep both Hulk and YM. Sell all other non-ROLEXs.

HULK, I like both though. Hulk is also more valuable to me rn because it is in high demand.

I have the LVc and would love the YM Blue. That is not a decision I would like to make and if at all possible, I be looking for a way to keep both. In fact, if that were my collection I'd be flipping the Speedmaster.

Rotten decision to have to make. Good luck

Never owned a YM. Never really liked it until I tried it on at an AD and then I really liked it. Beautiful watch.

Which one puts a bigger smile on your face? Keep that one.

Okay mission abort. I decided to use all my airline mileage to get holiday tickets for le wife instead of buying her a rolex. So I can keep both for now.

Thanks for all the inputs though.

Which one do find most comfortable? I have a YM and a GMTc. Personally I find the YM far easier to wear.

Being less popular you'll take a bath selling the YM but as others have said the Hulk will retain more value.

Sold my 114060 for a brand new 116622 blue dial recently and I have no regrets (other than initially when I let the 114060 go)

The 116622 has more of a 'presence' than the 114060 and I am slowly falling more in love with it each day. The dial is mesmerizing. But there's nothing wrong with a 114060 either!

I may get another 114060 in the future (or perhaps go vintage) but I can't imagine letting go of the YM. Keep it because of the following:

- Resale loses too much
- Different than the usual subs that you see a lot
- Dial is incredible and somewhat unique
- Goes better with formal wear but conversely can look a little flash when popping down to the shops - the sub is probably a better balance for both
- Platinum
- I personally dont like the Hulk - would prefer a standard black sub - the YM is classier

Forget my previous advice. I was in the Evansville, IN AD yesterday and they had both side by side. Keep the HULK.

I'm the typical new guy, doing tons of research while trying to decide on my first Rolex. After months of research, I have narrowed my search to three, and ironically, both of the watches you mentioned in this thread are included in my list of three. Reading the replies didn't seem to help me narrow that list, as both watches seem to be well thought of. In case you are curious, the DateJust II with blue stick dial is the other watch on the list. I appreciate the information here and will research on ....

Depends on what you are looking for. If you dont mind some shine, the YM is a winner over Datejust or GMT II. However if you prefer more of a quality tool watch look, the Hulk would look better without that polished center link YM has.

Having owned both, I really think they both have each their time and place to wear. I know that didnt help, just get whichever and dont regret.

Yeah, I'm not sure why everyone is saying the Hulk is worth more. The 116622 in both blue and rhodium dials are worth more than the Hulk presently. A lot of people basing their vote on something that isn't even true.
