How old were you when you bought your first Rolex?
My case is 38 after long internal debate. But immediately after bought one (sub-c date), I realized that should have done it earlier.

22/23 it was right around there. It was a red lettered sub that unfortunately I no longer own. I will track one down eventually and add it to the collection.

33, would have been 23 if I had a more level head. Walked into a dealer with $4500 cash to purchase my first no date sub. The sales person wouldn't even open the case for me unless I handed over my drivers license and credit card. I was so upset I walked out... Now the no date sub retails for $7500, haha.... Oh well, I waited 10 years and owned a few nice watches in between that time frame, but now I have my EXP II

I'm a late watch bloomer. The first watch I got was:
Mickey Mouse at 5, then 18kt Geneve at 38 Omega SMP 300 @ 40 Rolex BLNR at 50 Rolex 116618 @ 52 Rolex Yachtmaster 268655 (wife) @?? And fortunately, even though I traded the SMP, I got it back and have all of the above
