FS: Rolex Submariner 6536/1 Small Crown

Selling on behalf of a collector friend this 'No Crown Guard' 6536/1 Submariner, thin case from 1955.

The dial is service replacement, the hands though deteriorated look to be original to the watch.
Serial is 123xxx.
BREVET + is marked above reference number.

The caseback diaplays the reference 6536 without the /1.
The bezel has a few chips evident in the pictures.

Movement seems nice and clean, and running strong. Doesn't not take too much to wind and get running however it does run albeit a little fast. Service history unknown.
