Age 49 as an impromptu gift from a girlfriend at the time. The Explorer 214270 T-Rex. It was an early 50th Birthday gift. Since then I added Speedmaster Pro hesalite, Black Bay Heritage Red, and GMT 116710LN. All these watches in 2.5 years.

Twenty Eight (8). T'was a TT Air King *Date* - commonwealth country only. Although I didn't know it at the time, it was kinda scarce. Sold 14 TROUBLE FREE years later for a 36mm Datejust.

my dad always wore a datejust. i started lusting at 19. the now-ex bought a playstructure one summer that i knew the kids would rarely use. I was right.
i remember looking at it and thinking "there's my Sub". 5 years later at 40 i got my Sub! after she got her datejust.
