I think it also depends on the dial that you are looking for. At my AD, he had two white dials sitting in the case (TT DJ41), and nothing else- you should definitely get at least 10% off on something like that. Interestingly, even the grey market is not showing a discount more than 10%.

I asked my AD for a discount when I purchased a SubC this year. I didn't ask for any specific amount but was pleased to receive a 5% discount. Yes, I did have a "relationship" with my AD in the sense that my wife and I have made a number of prior purchases over a period of some years.

Thats a good deal in the current situation on a SubC.

Prior to this year my last AD purchase was in 2008. Had a standing 20% discount at that time. Contacted my AD over the summer inquiring about a Daytona or Hulk and it was highlighted that SS sports models no longer have discounts before he even discussed the specific watches.... I was just pleased to get a Daytona with minimal wait

AD still offers me 20% discount on PM.
