In what way is the new Air King a tribute to aviation?
From the Rolex website: "the Air-King perpetuates the aeronautical heritage of the original Rolex Oyster"
The only significant things about the watch are the green font and seconds hand and the cartoonish yellow logo. |

I'm no aviation buff, but I always took that line to mean it was reminiscent (albeit vaguely) to an airspeed indicator...
