Cellini

Any ideas about rolex cellini? Been thinking of swapping my 4112 with a modern steel band watch but I’m still hesitant.

I believe they’re gorgeous... and in my opinion, if Rolex changes them or makes them unavailable, they’ll e highly regarded and collectible... if I had my choice, to be frank, I’d go with a ore owned patek 5196 r or white gold, but the 5196 will be far higher.

I love some of the Cellini, particularly the older 3807, 4014 or 4127. They have some great dial & case combos that contrast beautifully. I just wish they were a bit larger. They also still offer an excellent value compared to the sport models.

I own an Oyster Perpetual 39mm Rhodium which I like a lot, but a Rolex I’d like even more would be a Cellini 50509 dark Rhodium.
I believe Rolex do their Cellini with a light Rhodium dial, but unfortunately not dark.

Went through to my local Rolex dealer to have a look at a Cellini 50509 light Rhodium WG, and photos I’ve seen of one don’t do justice as to how it looks in real life.
So when I’ve money saved I’ll be selling my Oyster Perpetual 39mm dark Rhodium for one of those Cellini’s.
A very beautiful looking watch, imo.

Was never a fan TBH, don’t think they quite hit the mark with the Cellini

It's alright but for the price point i don't think it is worth it. Jaeger and Cartier make better moonphase watches for a lot less

Nice to see someone showing interest in the Cellini collection. I’d advise against the date because the date jump isn’t instant and uses GMT movement repurposed parts.
The dual time on the other hand would be a good option. Besides, how often do we see a classic watch with a screwed crown and case back? I just wish they had a steel and yellow gold model.
