My neighbor has a cutout of a Bigfoot that he dresses for every holiday. I enjoy his sense of humor. For Halloween he is “Where is Waldo”.

Halloween is hunting season. Dressing up like game during hunting season is an inherently bad idea.

No telescope, not even Hubble, has the resolution to see Apollo objects on the surface of the moon. You have to trust that NASA doesn’t keep secrets any better than the government agencies that published hydrogen bomb plans or NSA spying programs, and couldn’t hide a conspiracy this long. Even the Soviets said we landed on the moon. You dont get more skeptical than that.

Whereas, any idiot with a smart phone can snap a high res image of big foot, yet no real pictures exist. The only images available are from admitted hoaxers looking for their 15 minutes of glory.

Exactly. The "proof" that there is a bigfoot is no more solid than the "proof" of the moon landing.

I've seen this movie plenty of times and I've never seen, heard of any symbology or hints about his faking the moon landing. And perhaps, if he thought the moon landing was fake he planted things in the movie to support his beliefs.

I have zero doubt the moon landings were real. If you're going to fake something like that, fake a trip to Mars, or Venus, really put on a show!

My friends and I are planning a Bigfoot hunting trip in the Cascades later this year...

We aren't seriously hunting, but it is a themed weekend at an AirBnB up there, watching "Harry and the Hendersons", hiking trails that have had sightings, and eating beef jerky.

I'll post any good pics of Squatch that we get.

I would say that in the moon landings example, critical thinking may challenge the accepted belief.

I for one am sceptical that the images are genuine and the natural progression of this thought is that if they are faked, what else is not true.
There are simply too many anomalies and unexplainable images.

If there was a landing, the scientists did extraordinarily well with limited technology in a remarkably short period.

Someone mentioned the NASA orbiter hi -res photos from 2009, but I can’t see any evidence from these one way or another.

The only thing that makes it hard to believe it is not true is that nobody has broken their silence and come clean (including the Russians)
