Not to mention it will only go up in value as its discontinued and will prob be the largest daydate rolex ever make!

I dont get why any man would want less than a 40mm, i mean even girls ar wearing 40mm these days.
I cant speak for anyone else but i sure as hell would not want a watch that is also suitable for women!! Whats wrong with fellas these days! The worlds gone crazy...you couldnt imagine a woman wearing a ap 15400 could you??
pretty ignorant post but regardless a day date doesn't (and most would say it shouldn't) be huge

Maybe it needs a new line to be released.....

The Datejust Day!
SS, PT, and WG are easily distinguishable by those of us seeking them. Wha the general public and tell, I don't really care. There is a PT and SS Daytona and WG and SS Sky. If more models were made in PM, Rolex profit would likely improve.

40mm and above is good.. my Calatrava at 37mm wears like a 40mm so it’s tough to say. I too have realized since the day date 2 isn’t made anymore, it will likely be worth more. On the other hand I Could see Rolex releasing a “day date 41..”

That’s absolutely spectacular. Im sure you receive compliments in person not that you are seeking them.

Thanks. Actually no one has noticed or commented on this piece. I guess it flies under the radar which is what I like.

Compliments are a touchy thing. I once complimented a guy on his breitling and he was extremely uncomfortable afterwards. He was sort of callous actually. I love talking watches in public but perhaps other do not . I’d love to see that platinum day date in public someday . Maybe people fear getting robbed but I wear my deep blue or sub everywhere. No one notices or cares .

Huh?

36mm DD or a 44mm D-Blue...they both look just fine to me.

Do you also wear UGGs to go with your manly wrist watch size?

More like a nightmare.

Given the SS shortages,
a) it will be impossible to find at retail like the pepsi
b) the markup from the gray dealer will likely tempt SS buyers to spend a few
thousand more to get all PM.
