Today I was using a vintage Montblanc Monte Rosa.

Yesterday it was my modern Montblanc Jonathan Swift.

After searching for a flex nib to give my writing some style, I ordered an MB 149 calligraphy pen. I am delighted. Learning how to properly write again (after scribbling for decades). Tons of fun and such a nice piece! It’s a joy to write with.

i would love to collect some pens, but there is very little use of them nowadays. i’m curious if most of you just like the look or do use them frequently?

Yes. My dad was a lifer with IBM and I have a few items of his from those days. The pencils, his OS/2 award. And his 25 year Rolex. Also found some of the THINK note pads as well. He’s used to carry a dozen of these pencils in his briefcase, always sharpened.
