Batman Authenticity Check - used watch from Colombia AD
Hi,
First first time Rolex owner here. After quite a bit of stalking The Rolex Forums, I purchased a 116710BLNR from a trusted seller (DavidSW). The Rolex arrived today and I just wanted to get an authenticity check/opinion, as well as ask a question regarding warranty/card. The Warranty card is from an AD in Bogota, Colombia. So I want to understand if this will cause any issues with servicing/warranty and/or potential resell in the future(not on the agenda, but if it ever came to that) - I am in the United States. Watch came with white outer box, (green) watch box, GMT Master 2 manual, warranty card & service booklet (matching serial numbers) and leather warranty card holder. Watch looks/feels amazing, virtually brand new for a ~1yr old watch. Can't see a single flaw. I guess a callout is that I cannot for the life of me see the "Laser Etched Coronet" despite having very good vision, though I do not have a magnifier. When looking at photos and video everything looks very good. Enjoy it, because it is a very sought after model, and you got it from a reliable seller. My Batman greets you!
If you have an AD card from Columbia, then the warranty will be for all countries where AD Rolex is located, including the USA.

You bought the seller before buying the watch. With David you should have no worries.
Rolex warranty is international so country of origin is of no importance. Regarding the coronet, in order to see it, you got to flash a light at a low angle from the 12 o’clock side, use your cell phone camera to spot it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mariusz - Thank you & cheers! Love that pic of yours :)
Rori - thank you as well, not my average sized purchase so had a moment of anxiety, but you're right. And I was able to see the coronet in the dark with a light. |

You're good. The second hand dealers source watches from over seas all the time and David is well known. Enjoy your new authentic watch!
