I am on a 'list' for a Sub and am not bothered about a new movement but based on current waiting times i'll probably just make it to the top of the list by the time an update is released!

I'm waiting to see what happens to the Sub and Explorer - movements. I'm not in the market for myself but planning ahead for my son's college graduation (he'll be a H.S. senior in the fall). In my mind, 70 hour power reserve makes a difference being able to set the watch down on a Friday and pick it up Monday without having to reset it.

I'd get a slimmer WG sub to end my collecting days :)

I second that! It's time for a bigger sub.

will be interested to see if the shape of the case and lug will have any tangible redesign. Other than the ceramic bezel and the glidelock bracelet, 16610 Sub looks better than the 6 digit version.

Anyone have a speculation on this and\or is waiting for a similar update?
The update on the movement, if and when it comes, will be very minor. A few more hours of power reserve. That’s not an update in my estimation. If Rolex does change the dimensions of a newer Sub My 114060 will go through the roof

The perfect Submariner (IMO, YMMV, etc) was already launched and discontinued...

Lol. Exactly right, my friend.
