FINALLY! My new Rolex has arrived!

After visiting numerous AD's in search for the Rolex GMT Batman, finally got a call that it has arrived! Drove down right away and picked it up. Couldn't be any happier with it.

Originally I was after either the Submariner Hulk or this GMT Batman. I'm from Vancouver, Canada but work in the US so I took a look there to see if any were available.

But turns out with the weak Canadian dollar, and the fact I work in the US, when I convert the currencies at the Rolex AD in Canada, it's alot cheaper to purchase in Canada. Both the Hulk and Batman were roughly the same price, so it was a hard choice!

Onto the pics!

They had almost every model in stock:

The HULK and all it's glory!

Some "Rolex Water" from the boutique !

I'm VERY excited about this purchase and would like to say Hi to everyone from this forum. I lurk but never post lol. So here it is!

It's a beauty! Love that blue black bezel. Just an observation, it looks as though you've been given the old style presentation box.

Wait you purchased the blnr from the rolex boutiq in downtown Vancouver?
The case looks 2015< and I am surprised you could get blnr from rolex boutoque because last time I asked for blnr they told me I can only get it if I purchase PM watch from them

Yes, they didn't have the newer box style for the GMT which is a larger box altogether with a rectangular shape, but I did request it, so they'll contact me once it's here. But I was too starstruck with the watch to really care! lol

It's a "reward watch" as they call it. As long as you've purchased ANY watch from them before you're good. Not sure why they would tell you it has to be precious metal, as that sounds kind of insane just to be able to purchase another watch....

I'm in love with the TT LB as well (not so much the black). That may be my next watch purchase =)

Congrats You were very fortunate to have the option to try both of the references that you were interested in side by side before pulling the trigger.

Lucky to see all that stock in the same place too. I have to say though, that is one ghastly shirt the dude holding the LVc is wearing.

If we're looking at the same piece, it's a Sub without a date. The minute graduations on the bezel stop at 15, so that's how my logic was worked. Also, I don't know of any other Rolex diver without a date
