As far as I'm aware they are still taking names. And recently a member has collected a high 900 numbered piece from the deparment store.

It’s an amazing piece and well worth the wait. I got mine about a month ago and absolutely love it. They are in the low 700 number now, that’s how I know what they are on.

They are over 1000 now and not going out in a strict order.

Popped into to Harrods this morning and saw 2 of these beauties in a cabinet. As I was taking pictures of them a salesman approached me and noticed i had LVc on my wrist, he told me how lucky I am as they are very very hard to get.
As we got talking about Rolex and Tudor he asked me if I was interested in Back Bay Harrods edition and he could put me on waiting list. So I thought why not, as I was writing down my contact details he told me they had a delivery of 50 of them on Monday and calling all the people who are on the list, if lucky I could be waiting 2 or 3 years.

Not bad, When I finally get my ass in gear and take my datejust to the RSC I might pop in see if I can get myself on the list. Are they taking deposits or simply just info?

I picked mine up this week. I was originally told four years when I inquired (December I think). They had definitely had a big delivery as they were fumbling around through a stack of them trying to find mine

It's my first black bay and I wore it round the house a bit yesterday. I like it a lot from an aesthetic standpoint but I'm not sure I'm enjoying the feel on the wrist.

Definitely nice watch, did same when I picked up my watch (not a Tudor). Wore around house get the feel for it. I'm definitely going to be buying the black bay 58. Liking the watch.

No deposit taken, just filled out an application form. I wouldn't go ask ask to be on list as soon as u get there. I suggest talk to them a bit to show your genuinely interested to keep the watch rather than get it and the flip it.
I was having conversation with the salesman about my collection and what I will be getting next. Then he asked if I was interested in one and he could put me down on the list.

Yes, they had 50 delivered and all watches were marked who's gonna receive what. I'm hoping some of them don't turn up and I could be getting one from this delivery

It’s a nice color but at twice the price of another color Black Bay I have to think that the allure is that they’ll go up in value. It’s a risky proposition but a nice watch nonetheless

I love dem Black Bays and the Harrods edition - though not a fan of green. Got the Burgundy one and it's been love at first sight ever since!

My 2 cents. Bought mine back in April. Couldnt believe how good it was and the fit / quality is excellent. I was on the list for 3 months and ended up with 3xx serial number.
Buying them at RRP is a no brainer, seen them for all sorts of prices, cant help but think that if you want to max the flip price you may need to take it overseas to get best deal. I am quite happy just wearing mine to be honest, it wasnt a whole bunch of money in relative terms and gets more comments out in the wild than either my SubC or SD4k. The DJ41 gets the most though :)

Being colorblind I stay clear of green. Having said that, it's a great looking watch. If this was available during my visit to Harrods back in 2008, I might have bought something to commemorate my trip.
