Much appreciated. I believe these photos do capture the true color, although I've heard the earlier BLROs might have slightly different shades.

How did you stop your watches at 31 seconds with the crowns screwed in?
Photoshop my friend. Occasionally I pull a watch from the bank or safe and manage to get it to run down where I want, but I find it easier to take as many shots as I want, and simply cut the crown out in post. It's a little time consuming but you definitely get a better selection of images.

All of the owners of the 116719 embrace and love the way the bezel changes colors between blue and purple / red and cranberry.
But the owners of the 126710 say theirs doesn't change to these beautiful purple and cranberry colors. Most 126710 owners claim that the 116719 owners have a camera or eye issue or something like that.

If anybody has both it would be great to hear, or see in pictures, if the bezels are the same or if their different.
Thank you! I would also love to see those pictures.

Congrats buddy. Looks awesome! Seems you buy enough watches that some AD should be falling all over themselves to make you and your family happy. Sucks living in a major metro area...believe me I know.

Love your Daytona on OF. I was going to do the same thing if I got a SS Daytona delivered. But I'm not really feeling the blue strap on this beauty. I know you will try every iteration, just for fun. Enjoy!

I have to say, the BLRO has grown on me. I wasn’t going to cave in but I may need to pick up one of these in the future.

Thanks brother!

So I know it’s not recommended to weigh in on a watch in the heat of the honeymoon lol, but I know for sure I love this watch.

So I didn’t mention earlier but I traded my BLNR to get this watch. To me the BLNR has long been the best all around watch Rolex makes. It was tough to let it go but it became clear to me my favorite way to wear the BLNR was on jubilee. Obviously that box is checked.

Also, two things occurred to me when I first got the Pepsi.

1. It didn’t seem all that different from my BLNR on jubilee (yeah different clasp and colors), but wears almost the same, better in fact, and the colors might pop a little more but are still great for daily use. So at first I was like why isn’t this as exciting as I thought it’d be!?

2. It not feeling like a totally new watch lacked a certain excitement but also proves I made the right choice for replacement. It feels so natural and right at home for me. Yes, a steamy one night stand is exciting, but this watch is marriage material.

I already talked about the color issue (or lack thereof).

Lastly, I’ve already tried it on a glidelock, Everest band, and kept my PCL BLNR bracelet, so versatility is a non-issue.

Simply put, I just love this watch!

I agree with all the above Chad. I’ve owned mine now for about a month and can honestly say, there isn’t a day that goes by when I dont enjoy wearing it, or wish I was wearing it (when it’s off my wrist rotation).

Marriage material indeed

Oh, and as others have said, awesome pictures You’ve really managed to capture the true essence of this piece. Well done

Congrats—beautiful photos! I have to ask—if you could keep only one, would it be the 16710 or the 126710?

I know this is rather controversial but for me there’s no question is keep the new 126710. I’ve owned my 16710 for a couple years and it’s my least worn watch.

I used to despise the new case style but sometime about 5-6 years ago I transitioned and can’t really go back. Obviously it’s an amazing piece with great style, history and charm but when it comes time to grab a watch, I just don’t reach for it.

Obviously all preference, but I will say the bracelet is objectively inferior. Now I have tried plenty of modern bracelets on it, and while I do feel it improves the experience the balance does feel off.

I bought it without seeing this model in person. I knew from wearing my BLNR on Jubilee this would be near perfect for me. I did have some reservations about the colors, but after seeing it in person in all lights, I'm pleased to say I couldn't be happier.

While the red is not exactly "fire engine" red, I don't see any of the maroon or pink that everyones been saying. The blue to me as is also fantastic. It's perhaps even a more true blue than the BLNR (which appears a little more royal to my eyes).

I'll post some pics along side my 16710 BLRO which has a pretty crisp bezel.

So excited about this one. Here are some pics! Enjoy.
