Help me!
I have the opportunity to trade my Milgauss GV black dial straight up for a black no-date sub. I already have a GMTc LN and I like the Milgauss, but am drawn to the sub. I know, I know, whichever sings to me, but if I am indifferent what is the WISE move here? Thanks in advance

The wise move is the one that gives you the most peace.

If you are confident the Sub is 100%. Do the trade. Keep in mind the cost of service, box, papers, etc.

My hangup is the similarity between sub and my GMT but it would be nice to have a watch without pcl’s which the sub accomplishes

In the end its a personal decision, but I would do it as well. You can always trade/sell the ND Sub to reacquire Black Milgauss GV if you miss it, with minimal if not breakeven financial consequences. I dont think I can say the same if you were trading the ND Sub to get the Milgauss.

Just buy the sub. Sounds like it can be had for reasonable money.
You can figure out which one you want to keep later. |

Personally I would keep the Milgauss. Used to own the Sub and currently own the Milgauss. |

I would absolutely do this trade especially at no additional money! The brushed look is a good alternative to the PCL on your other piece. As a bonus, the Sub is a lot easier to sell down the line than the GV. |

I’d be all over that trade... Do it quickly before the Sub owner changes his/her mind.

Monetarily it is a good deal - I’d be wary personally.
That said, you’d have 2 watches that look pretty much the same from more than 5 feet away. I wouldn’t do it personally. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Man, you better grab that Sub! You won't regret it, you might even be upset at yourself for delaying the decision.

My straight up answer is yes but it's tough to part with a watch you still like in the Milgauss.

I would personally do this trade. Curious if the other party is doing some speculative investing on the Milgauss -- maybe they're drinking the "OMG the Milguass is on the Rolex Instagram so it must be changing this year" kool-aid and think the current reference will be going up in value soon.

I’m in the minority I guess. I like your current pair better than a Sub/GMT pair.

I have both.
I'd stay with the Milgauss GV. The SubC is nice but the Milgauss is different.

For a straight trade, and everything with the sub is legit....absolutely I’d do it!

No way. The Milgauss GV black dial is 10x cooler than a plain ol sub. Nothing else like it. Not by a LONG shot.

Good deal from a pure financial standpoint, but waters down your collection
