They look quite nice, but are quite slabby sided like their other kin.
I think they still sell over list though - so perhaps you can't loose if you get it?

A Harrods BB went for CHF 9375 today at auction by Phillips so it doesn't seem a great risk and you can enjoy it occasionally without too much worry as well. No way to know what the future will bring to the market, but if I still lived in London I'd be happy to grab one.

That’s unusual as they usually go for around the £3k mark on eBay etc.
If you buy one with the intention of selling there isn’t much in them. I had one and found it a bit clunky and didn’t like the lack of on the go adjustment on the clasp etc so ended up selling it for another Rolex. I spoke to so many traders etc and struggled to get much over what I paid for it.
Don’t be fooled by some of the selling prices you see.

Sometimes I wonder who pays these figures, when the market is much cheaper, for example in chrono24, is there any explanation?

I have it and it’s a nice watch. Initially I was wearing it a lot. Very good if you want to be a bit more discreet and not wear your rolex. However, recently I’ve been wearing my Rolexes more as find the Harrods a bit chunky.....

If you don't want it, let somebody else have it.

If you aren’t going to wear it then why buy it? I personally don’t see a good enough reason to stick a BB Tudor in the safe. You either want it to wear it or you pass

Anyone know how someone from the US can try and snag one of these at retail? Anyway to get on the list without being in the UK?

Email Harrods's customer service and they should be able to add you to the waiting list.

When they first came out it was thought that they would be a collectors dream based on the original limited numbers offered. People were talking about them going up to $10,000+!

Since they keep producing more and more and more of them, the second hand prices have been falling dramatically. If you look hard now you can find them in the mid 4s but a lot of them have been sitting for a long time. I think the increased production has soured peoples desire for one.

I called them directly and requested to speak with the fine watch department.

This - I sold mine for the same reasons (same as I’ve had with all tudors). It’s a lovely watch but don’t be fooled by the grey prices. Many greys pay under list for this. Private, about the £3k Mark is about right.

Give Harrods a call and ask to be put through to Tudor and then officially register your interest but be mindful the watch must be collected from Harrods,,
They will not send,,,,
