New Strap on GMT Master II

Hello my friends,

I am considering switching out the bracelet on my Batman. I wanted to get some thoughts on what you all recommend for a strap? NATO, leather, rubber? The more pictures the better. Thanks!

Cheers,

-Ray

I switch between rubber b and bracelet, on the blnr I do switch it out for a nato quite often especially for the beach.

Switched to a rubber band from RubberB this summer on my GMT. Wasn’t happy at all, either you keep it very tight or sits weird on the wirst.

Switched back to Oyster bracelet a couple of weeks later...

It’s probably happened to me 20 times over the last 20 years.

I take a 5-digit or 6-digit reference and think leather or rubber would be an improvement on the oyster.

Usually less than one week later, the oyster is back on.

About one year later, I think my tastes have matured, or rubber technology/design has improved, or I want to try NATO for a while.

A week later, oyster is back on.

Just my experience....

I can relate and have done the same thing. All mine stay on the bracelet now and I don't even think about changing them out.

I just purchased a leather for my CHNR and am still deciding how much I like it. So far so good, but the nothing will compare to the Oyster.

On my LN, I usually wear it with the factory oyster (though I had the PCLs brushed, which, IMO, improves the watch tremendously).

In the summer I'll often switch to a black Everest strap. It's very comfortable and great for the beach. I opted for Everest over RubberB due to hte issue mentioned above, where the RubberB holes are further apart than those for the Everest. Wore mine on rubber for about 4 months this summer (since I didn't need to swap back to the bracelet in order to wear it to work).

I only wear my LN on a black Everest, despite brushing out the PCLs on my oyster I prefer the look/contrast/comfort of the black Everest.

Nato or rubber makes for a nice summer combo imo

Rubber B is the best look, imho.
