Pam 112 manual winding
Hi pals, I have a small question. After I got my pam112 from the AD, it worked for over 2 days (around 50 hours) before I wound it for 30 times. I used my index finger to wind underneath, instead of using both thumb and index finger, because I was afraid that using two fingers may overwind (one finger is sensitive to resistance) and repeated rub over the bezel may dim the polish. Now that the watch stopped almost every 30 hours. Does that mean I have to wind it for 60 times using index finger? Can anyone with a manual winding movement share some insight? Thanks a million.

Did you wind it until it stoped?
You need to wind it all the way to get the full 52 hour reserve.

I wouldn't worry so much about rubbing off the polish by using your thumb. I get about 40plus hours on the power reserve after winding. My winding method which uses both fingers is about 100 turns...

Whether you use just your finger or thumb & finger, it is winding at about the same rate.
Just keep going. You will feel a bit of resistance, then about another wind, it will stop. Just don't be using monkey hands & you should be fine. Once you get to feel what is supposed to be like, the next wind be much easier on you.
