Help with PAM purchase

I was considering purchasing a PAM 90 that my AD has in the window. List price is $7400 and they arent offering any discount. Im pretty much a Rolex guy and I dont know too much about Panerai's except that I really like the way this one looks. Have there been many recent price increases? Should I try to find a pre-owned one? Will this watch hold its value? Is this a popular model? What Rolex model would the 90 be compared to? THanks for your feedback.

I've seen several 90's going for the mid to low 6's in the used markets (1-2 years old). The 90 is not a super popular model, but nonetheless, still not highly available. When I say that, I mean they can be had. There are many Panerai models that can't be had unless you are lucky, know people or have money out the arse. They may not offer discounts, but you can ask for extra straps and out of state shipping. You could also call the panerai boutique in beverly hills and see if they can get you one. If you don't have a cartier boutique where you live, you'll get it take free.

Yes, it will hold its value. Probable better than most Rolex's.

90 is a great looking watch and approximately 2500 made for K series. I would not call them rare but they do not sit long. No discount but may get some straps.
