Submariner Date Wait Time 2019?
Hi all, just curious how long you had to wait until you received your submariners? I am a returning customer to my AD in Vancouver, Canada. I purchased a two tone datejust 41 and I got on the list for a Submariner date 4 months ago. How much longer should I expect to wait? I’ve heard anywhere from 6-8 months online and I know this is entirely up to my AD. But wondering about your personal experiences.
Thanks |

My AD is getting 1-2 of them in a month.
I added a no-date this year and was originally only going to have to wait 3 weeks, but it turned into just around two months. I was promised the next one that came in, but I think a bigger fish got that one, or just forgot that I was waiting on it. He offered me a sub-date on the spot (phone), but I had bought one from him 2 years ago and don’t need a second. The next one he got he called me right away. I gave him my CC number and he has kept it in the vault until I can swing in to get it. ...that was like 3-4 months ago. I have to fly to my AD, so it’s just chilling in his vault waiting to go home. In SoCal, my local AD (if you can even call them that), quoted me one year. Said another customer got his at like 8 months and it was early. Just pure BS. They have 2 separate lists: qualified and non qualified. Basically, do you or have you bought from us before. I get bundling and I get receiving watches early if you’re a VIP, but what I don’t get is not selling you a watch at all if you’ve never bought from the store. Just completely ridiculous. Isn’t everyone a new customer at some point? Don’t even want to give these guys promotion so I won’t say their name but yes, up to 1 year down here.

Date, not too long.
No date, different story. The current reference is reportedly no longer in production. Remaining inventory will filter thru until/if a new reference (presumably) 124060 is released at (presumably) Basel 2020. I have now had 3 AD’s in 3 very different areas of the US tell me they have been told they will not be getting any more 114060’s, ever. They were not told about a successor, just that there will be no more 114060. |

My AD has offered one to me on multiple occasions in the past year or so, and I am not on a wait list. I think they are rather plentiful

Waiting for a date and no date for couple weeks now through 2 ADs. One told me there were 2 people ahead of me.
I anticipate having them by October. |

What a difference today’s market is from a few years back. In 2017 I walked into an AD before work, ordered my 116610ln and picked it up on my lunch hour.

I have not ordered one, but I was recently told by one of my ADs in Toronto that the wait for a Sub date could be 8-12 months. (I've purchased 3 Rolex's previously.) Payment in full at time of order.

To the people saying 1 or 2 months they must have large prior purchase history and sexual relationships with the staff ha ha. Because in London or anywhere in the UK I've contacted them all btw the ad staff would lol at you if you walk in asking for a date sub without no purch history
And if you asked if it would be under 5 months wait they will be mocking you big time behind your back But maybe it's diffent in USA amd Canada?and they are pretty easy to get at retail, with only a couple month wait.i wish it was like that here i should move to america if thats the case and build my collection lol |

3 months, was told it could be 8-9 months. If they could take a deposit and put your name down, its worth it.

I have absolutely no idea how long it will take before you receive your Submariner in Vancouver Canada. Now, I've been waiting for a Submariner Date since April (it is a gift for my brother) and I have absolutely no idea when I can expect to take delivery. Nevertheless, I hope your Submarine arrives soon. BTW, I was fortunate and did visit Vancouver. What a beautiful city

I've Been waiting 3 months so far. Should be another month or so I'm thinking.
I was offered a regular Sub a few weeks back but declined as I am after a date model. |

116610ln
I was told 1-2 years by most of the AD's that I went to.
I found that a lot of them wanted to know where I lived and if I was local to them (apparently this matters - to someone). I swung by my local AD who I have bought watches and jewelry from in the past and spoke with my normal salesman. He told me the last time he saw a 116610LN was 16 months ago. He took my information and told me he would call me if one came in. He called me 2 days later and asked me if I wanted to watch. You bet your rear end I do! As a reference my first Rolex I purchased in 2003 for 10% off (16234). My second Rolex was purchased in 2010 for 15% off (16570) and the 116610LN was full retail plus tax. With demand the way it is now and the market I wasn't able to get a discount (even paying cash). Normally I can shave a few points off by paying cash but not this time!

Depends on your relationship but can be anywhere from 1 month usually to several.
fwiw, I got my cousin one just a few months ago in less than a day, but could also be that I got lucky and he received a shipment following morning so theres that |
