Experience with Bob's Watches?

Does anyone have experience with buying Rolex from Bob's Watches?

I was looking at some 1990s Submariners. I just wanted an inexpensive everyday watch for knocking around. I'm not sure if the photos on the website are the exact watch you'd receive or if it's just the model of the watch.

I'm also wondering what happens if you have a dispute about the authenticity of the watch. I wonder if there's a hassle free return policy.

Just curious about general experiences buying through Bob's Watches.

The photos are all labeled "ACTUAL PHOTO" and there is a detailed page on the return policy linked at the bottom of every page. You should definitely read it carefully for yourself so you understand the conditions.

I’ve bought one watch from Bob’s that was one of the better deals I’ve ever made (a ‘66 gilt dial 1016 that I later sold for a lot more). And I bought a 5500 that I returned with absolutely no problem at all, after deciding that 34mm was just too small. All in all, they seem to want to protect their reputation and will make sure the buyer is happy.

I bought a Tudor BB 41 two years ago.

Listed as Unworn and no joke, came brand new with stickers and full kit for $2k, 30% off of retail.

Very happy wioth Bob's. When I need a watch, I look there first.

I purchased a 1601 Datejust from them about a year ago, no problems. It appeared to have been serviced with a new looking crystal and runs well within COSC. They were kind enough to send me pics of the watch with different strap options to let me choose.

I’ve purchased a full set Cartier Santos from them which went smoothly as well.
