Hi everybody

This was my grandfathers watch and as you can see was a gift from my grandmother in 1937 (I think)

I am wondering if anyone can tell me a bit about the model?

It has been working but has just stopped and funnily enough I can still hear the movement working but the hands are not moving.

I am not sure how much I should spend on a repair?

Handley-cased Rolex Watch Co. Ltd. “Tudor”. Fairly common in Australia in the 1930s. You might find something of interest here. I had one for a while.

Sentimental value alone, i would have it repaired. What a lovely piece to have.

Engraved also, very special.
