EDIT: Aiello's Pizza is in Squirrel Hill of Pittsburgh, but a brother split off and opened a place out by us!

Anywhere that serves diavolo (that's pepperoni to you Muricans) Chicago style. That's my fave. You can keep that thin crust NY nonsense. I need my pizza to kick my ass and make me gain 3 lbs for having sinned.

When I lived in Gainesville Florida it was Leonardo's. Here in southern Spain... nothing has knocked my socks off.

Punch Pizza, Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Authentic Neapolitan (VPN certified). Brick, wood-fired ovens. Only the finest ingredients. etc. etc.

800 degrees for 90 seconds and you're good to go.

Sciortino's Pizza, a family owned place in Perth Amboy, NJ

They used to have a huge brick oven that was never turned off since they opened like 70 years ago.

They closed down and reopened, in a new location, and without that oven it hasn't been the same...

But even with that, they're pretty great. They'll even sell you a jar of their sauce.

Other than them any 99 cent slice pizza places in NYC will do!

L&B Spumoni Gardens in Gravesend, Brooklyn. The only correct answer to this thread. An honorable mention to Williamsburg Pizza in, you guessed it, Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

If you’re ever in Downtown San Diego, take a trip to Little Italy.

There’s an historic Italian Family Restaurant there called Filippi’s Pizza Grotto. Family owned and operated since 1950, this place has the ambiance and charm of an old fashioned, traditional Italian restaurant and delicatessen. (Because it is!!!)

Upon entering, you find yourself in an old world Italian Deli, complete with all the traditional meats, cheeses, olives, oils, pasta, dried fish...this is where the Italian locals shop!

Further in, beyond the deli, you walk past the kitchen and greet the guys who are about to whip up your delicious meal.

We love the atmosphere here. So warm, friendly and casual...nothing “hip or trendy.”

Traditional Italian food and lots of it!!! We always start with a salad with “House Italian dressing;” hands down the best Italian salad dressing ever!

All the food is fantastic, and consistently so. The lasagna, spaghetti, giant meatballs, garlic bread and of course, pizza.

There are other Filippi’s locations around the county and they’re all great, but the original Little Italy location is best.

We go here a LOT!!! My wife and I went here (of course!) to celebrate my finally getting a Rolex Submariner!

Our favorite restaurant!!!
