Golfers watch

Well isn't this cheating a bit. Like a range finder on your wrist....

I like it. Just don’t play enough to justify the purchase

When you get to it, don't really see much of a difference between pacing off your yardage from the 150 stake, vs having it on your gizmo . . . . . other than one is more convenient and would likely speed the pace of play.

If there's a downside there, I'm not seeing it.

That’s all well and good but it’s like a computer. It will be out dated in a few years. I will stick with my garmin.

Cheating? I don’t think so, the pros use caddies! They know distances and green slope! So why would anyone think it’s cheating?

Looks nice to me. I’d wear it if I still played.

I have the Garmin too. It’s a great watch. I don’t understand why anyone would pay 10x the Garmin to wear a Tag that in all probability isn’t as good.

I just use a range finder.

However, I do really enjoy the courses with the GPS in the cart. Give you driver distance, distance to the hole, front, middle, and back of green, keeps score, and has the wind.

Agree - especially since USGA now allows DMD’s...

http://www.usga.org/content/usga/hom...g-devices.html

Rule 4.3 now allows players to use DMDs to measure distance.
But a Committee may adopt a Local Rule prohibiting such use of DMDs.

Apple Watch owners can choose from many gold apps - and the TAG looks like they hired the developers of Fun Golf GPS.

The screens look very close to that AW app.
