Overnight camping in the desert..

A quick trip to find the wild flowers blooming in Borrego Springs.

That is a great spot to hide away for a few days and meditate.

I've done a bit of camping in unimproved areas. Lately it seems someone in a giant RV with late night generators keeps throwing off the solitude. This summer I'll be visiting a friend near Yosemite. A small 4WD Subaru should get me to the right spot off the Hites Cove Trail for a few days, deep in the Sierra National forest.

The desert is blooming like crazy around Tucson.
Our rainy winter made it a banner year for wildflowers.

Great pics. It’s the best way to camp imo

Did a week in Joshua tree. It was life changing.

Not as many flowers as we expected. Little yellow, purple, white and orange...

Larry, I'll be moving to SD this summer. Can I shoot you a PM sometime for some area recommendations? (I'll also be on the hunt for an AD to buy a Milgauss, but that's for 2022.)
