Hi all, I was offered an AP ROO triple calendar 25807ST, year 2000 full set for my 2014 full box and papers Rolex Batman on the oyster bracelet.

Truth be told, This is the first time I’ve come across this AP’s model, it kinda appeals to me but I’m not exactly sure if it’s a wise trade.

Any kind soul can advise?

I wouldn't do it. The AP Royal Oak is an awesome watch, and I would love one if I could get one at retail. But circa 2000? You're looking at a costly service job.

I was looking at these a couple years ago when they were selling for 7k before the hype went boom. I was still dubious due to the age and service cost and why they were so much cheaper than other ap models. I presume movement or finish different but never looked in detail. I bought a new explorer instead. But maybe I was a fool!

Apologies for nitpicking, but if you have a 2014 Batman on an Oyster, the reference is 116710BLNR.

It depends. Find out when it was last serviced, check the condition. If you really like it and you do not mind paying increased cost to service then go for it. If possible I would actually get a quotation on a service, subject to purchase. Of course if it is possible. Good luck

I was going to buy one or these 2 year ago but chose a new Explorer.

It's worth doing some research on it. From what I remember it was a bit of an outlier in AP RO offshore range reflected in there price going for £7-8 when I was looking where as normal ROs were 11 back then. Perhaps the movement isn't to the same level I'm not sure. Just was always about 30% cheaper.
