GMT 116718 Green - will it become more desirable

Hello everyone, was wondering what everyone thoughts were on the 116718 Green dial GMT and what the potential future market may be and if its likely to be discontinued at anytime.

one other thing to that has sprung to mind is the green Daytona soaring in price and if this change will trickle down to similar watches such as the green GMT.

love to hear your thoughts

David

Discontinued after Basel this year. No YG GMT or LN. Only bi-colored bezels in SS, TT, RG & WG

The pool table green dial is unique, but most likely appeals to a small niche of GMT buyers. Highly doubt the price will ever reach the stratosphere.

I love this model! It's my grail! I don't see it anymore on Rolex's website. Are they really discontinued? I think msrp was around $35K? I see preowned ones for sale anywhere from around $25-30K. Seems like a pretty good deal, especially compared to what people are paying for certain hot SS models.

Here is a deeply troubling example that has been un-tastefully wrecked

I loved that flat green dial.

It was my grail for a long time and I still plan on acquiring it one day. Something so unique about the flat green dial, black bezel and YG case+bracelet.

I haven't seen these really rise at all since discontinuation...not sure where the other poster saw this.

If this were a sunburst green, agreed, it would be great. The flat green doesn't do it for me.....reminds me of a circuit board green.

Yep, thats exactly why I sourced mine after I found out they discontinued it, rather pay close to retail now than paying crazy price in the future.

It's a very cool watch. A high chance I may kick myself in the future for passing on it in the past.
