You should still be able to get a mild discount on two tone and precious metal watches at most American ADs. Stainless steel, I wouldn't expect anything. It never hurts to ask. You could shoot them a percentage or maybe ask them to eat the tax. They have to charge you tax unless they ship out of state, but many ADs will just discount the model what the added tax will cost bringing you back to MSRP after tax.

I got 5% off my 116000 this month so it's definitely possible, but will depend on your AD and if you have prior purchase history with them

Always ask for discount. No harm in it.

Here we have two ADs. One normally gives 15% on non sport PM Rolex, and the other has MSRP 20% over the first and gives 35%. Here if you don’t ask for a discount you are considered a fool and over paying.

My ad will do discounts on pm and two tone. Nothing in Ss. Has to also be something in stock and the discount gets bigger the longer the item is in the case. I think the most I’ve seen from him is about 20-25% on the harder to move plat watches.

Depends on the AD, but a 10% isn’t unreasonable. However don’t get shocked if they are selling at list price!

Two tones are in AD cases everywhere, I would think you could get a nice discount on these.

When I got my TT Daytona, I was able to get ~12%. But that was a year ago.. might be a completely different situation now.

This thread is a couple of months old. I imagine the Op already made his purchase one way or the other.

I was offered 10% on an OP39 without asking a few weeks ago. It was a grape, though, not the more recent white or black. Certainly a ladies' watch would get that much or more.
