How long were in you in the waitlist for sports model?
Hi,
I have registered my interest for the subs/gmt ii in Singapore and Australia and am hoping to get my first piece. How long did you wait before getting called by your AD? Thanks Last edited by seanbein; 25 June 2019 at 03:58 PM.. Reason: english |

Hulk - 4 months
Friend of mine picked up a black Sub in Australia. A little over 2 years on the list with no purchase history. |

If only there was a real answer. Like i'm ok with waiting exactly 2 years if it's guaranteed. But it's more like, maybe 2 years, maybe 5, maybe never. Who really knows.

The 2 ADs where I now live won't even take my registration for wait list so it's either grey or nothing.
It all seems to depend on your history and the density of wealthy people where you live. |

Also depends on who you are. My wife's friend who is a major celebrity, never bought any watch before, walked in AD and came out with jubilee Pepsi.

Sorry mate, already took it ;)
The AD did offer me CHNR, Submariner, SD43. I passed on those though. I did think to buy them to make a profit, but I want to enjoy this hobby and not ruin it, so I skipped that path. Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using Tapatalk |

Been on the BLNR ‘wait list’ in Westfield west london AD for 4 years. Lucky I bought one somewhere else in 2018...
The list you speak of doesn’t exist. The AD gives you one due to circumstances and every ADs justification to give you one will be different, such as doing a bundle with unwanted watches, or spending £100k in a single transaction, maybe he likes your face, or he likes your wife’s t1ts (if you send her in to enquire...) etc. .. |

No need to wait. Just pay market price and be happy. You never know if tomorrow is your last day. Just generate more money.

I’m quite curious as to which AD in Singapore actually took your name down with any serious intention of letting you have one over the people who are willing to build a relationship or bundle.

About three years ago - I got a call for the Batman after waiting for a month. This was even from Watches of Switzerland on Oxford Street.
Now I've been on a waiting list for a Hulk for the past 2.5 years from my local AD. I know it won't realistically happen in today's climate. |

I'm thinking about a polar as next watch, is the wait list horrors on these or still quite easy? (UK based)

Told my AD I was interested in a BLRO in mid January 2019, and received it early March 2019. In February they offered a BLNR too. This is with an existing relationship.

3 months for a BLNR which was much better than I was originally told. I was not expecting it til September and actually I wasn't very confident of getting any call at anytime.

3 weeks for a BLNR, 18 months for a 116500. Ordered a sub no date last week, expecting it within 2 weeks
It is ridiculous nowadays. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

0 days. I buy from grey dealers. Rolex ADs and Rolex proper have abandoned their customers
