Servicing - Chance for rebate?

Hello,

I have a friend who's Rolex stopped working - he will be getting it serviced.
I figured mine is up for service next year, do you think an AD would give any sort of discount if I put mine in his pot and they serviced two instead of one?

Twice the work for a discount? Nah, don't believe this will happen.

Not to sound like a newb, as I have yet to get any rolex serviced.

However, there are third parties which can do it.
...Also, My dry cleaner gives me a discount when I bring more in - more work for him too :-p

No. I just have had RSC service on both an 16600 and an 5513... fixed price and that is the same from other Rolex owners in my country

servicing a mechanical movement =/= dry cleaning a few extra dress shirts.

Yes, I didn't mean to compare the two.

But usually, quantity receives a discount.

Perhaps two is not a large enough quantity, as stated in this thread
