Thank you for reminding TRF of this again Larry. I too hope we dismiss the "CRB" term in favor of a more accurate name/acronym for the rehaut engraving.

Larry is correct on the term Rehaut, and agree with James but who needs the Rolex Rolex thingybob anyway, as long as its got Rolex once on the dial that will do me.

RBR! Cool. I agree with Padi, however, once on the dial is sufficient. Alas, the RBR is indeed here to stay! We may as well use proper nomenclature.
Now, may I respectfully suggest CRB be removed from the "abbreviations" section and RBR added in its place? That'll require a Mod, naturally...

Did you know there's a tiny Rolex Coronet at the 12 o'clock position on the RBR?

This thread has suddenly come back to life....
BTW in the UK the word "flange" means something completely different !! It is a very descriptive term for a certain part of a ladies anatomy. I doubt very much you will find many in the UK prepared to say that they have a beautiful flange, or their flange is engraved etc etc ...That is why I will steer away from any wisecracks that could lead to a mod telling off!!!
