Smurftastic Incoming!
The grail has finally arrived! After years of watch collecting, the journey has ended. It took owning many Rolex models to realize this would make me a one-watch guy.
The Bluesy came close, but the yellow gold was too loud and dressy for the water. BLNR seemed like a compromise with a half blue bezel. Tried to settle with Hulk after owning it 3 times, but a green watch was not meant for a lifetime. Plus, I needed something in solid gold... So huge thanks to takuya for making it happen, and just in time for my 41st birthday! The luster, the heft, the beautiful blue dial makes me smile. This is a watch that is underhyped, because there are just not enough words to describe how good it feels. But who am I kidding? You guys just came to look at pics. So here it is!-- |
